Okay, rant over… but no, really #goals.
Romee reached out to me in August about fall engagement pictures. Romee and her fiancé, Rajiv live in New York City and Romee’s parents live here, in the Lehigh Valley. Coordinating a time that worked for both of us was a bit difficult but we finally were set on a date. We corresponded back and forth for weeks regarding location and I’m so glad we did because we snagged two awesome locations!
We arrived one scene at location #1: Lower Macungie Community Center. Romee’s brother scouted out this location before-hand and honestly even though I’ve lived here, in the Lehigh Valley my whole life, I never knew this place existed.
So, there was one major influence to this amazing shoot.. The temperature. On November, 10th it was a frigid 40 degrees with high winds. Perfect combination for a shoot right?? Not really but these two just rolled with it. I’m so thankful they persevered through the session even though everyone was frozen. We would shoot for about 30 minutes and then go warm up in the car for 10 minutes and repeat, it was not ideal but hey, you got to do what you got to do.
In the end, the cold weather paid off because we got an incredible clear blue sky and sunset to end the session with. As far as I know, everyone still has 10 fingers and toes so that’s a bonus!
Romee and Rajiv the love you share is contagious, I wish you all the best on this new chapter you will embark on in 2019. It was a pleasure to capture the love you both share!
