So as most of you have heard, there is a world wide pandemic going on. And if you haven’t heard that congratulations and welcome to 2020!
As many of you know during this pandemic many are out of work and the financial impact of all of this is astounding. One of the major impacts at this time that is near and dear to my heart is the wedding industry. As a photographer and recent bride my heart breaks at the thought of having to postpone or cancel your wedding day. My heart goes out to all those couples who have had to alter their plans, change their dates, elope, or cancel all-together. I see you and I’m here for you if you need someone to talk to.
This wedding was one impacted by COVID-19.
Karrie is one of my good friends! We attend the same bible study every week and have just grown together over the past few years. Karrie met Trevor last year and we got to witness from the beginning the blossoming of their love! Karrie and Trevor were planning on getting married at Trevor’s parents’ farm on April 4th. However, due to the current pandemic they, last minute, had to change their plans. On Friday, March 20th, Karrie reached out to me and asked me if I was available that Sunday March 22nd to capture their day. My heart broke for her and Trevor in having to change their plans but I was excited that they were still able to get married. And thankfully I was free! We figured out the details and they did all the planning and went for it!
Karrie and Trevor got super creative with the planning, social distancing, and even the food served. They were able to get married surrounded by their families and bridal party on a sunny but chilly March day. Their wedding was beautiful and suited them so well. They both radiated so much joy despite the current situation going on in the world. Karrie’s sister-in-law was able to arrange the flowers, her sister’s friend is super good at hair and makeup and was also available to help, and Trevor’s sister decorated the cake. It was super cool to see how everyone pitched in to help these two have a beautiful day.
They truly have a beautiful support system who were all thrilled that they were able to still get married!
This March day was absolutely so sunny and beautiful after predictions for rain all week. The air was cold but the warmth from the sun helped so much!
Oh you can just feel the love these two have for each other! Karrie and Trevor, look how far you’ve come in such a short amount of time. God is SO good and I am so excited to see how He will use the both of you in this marriage!
Congratulations to both of you so sorry about the covid-19 pandemic that cause your wedding not to be what it should have been. But the good Lord is so wonderful even though you did not have what you wish you had I think in my book this wedding was absolutely gorgeous it was small so what the love that I’ve seen in these pictures that says it all love surrounds you both on this your special day it was gorgeous what it needed to be. So I wish you many many years of wedded bliss and once again congratulations I know God is watching over you both ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻
