On October 10th, 2018 Scott and Kelly had their wedding day at Tyler Gardens. As I sit here and try to think of creative words to describe Scott and Kelly’s wedding day, I am at a loss for words. Everything from the Airbnb to the ceremony at Tyler Gardens to the complete dance party that was at the reception. The whole day was so special and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be a special part of the whole day!
So I met Kelly through nursing school, within seconds of knowing her I knew she was an absolute gem. She is so caring and hospitable and just one of the sweetest and most genuine people I know. I then met Scott a few months later and right away I could see the love that these two share. The way Scott looks at Kelly gives me all the feels.
The wedding day began at an AMAZING Airbnb in Titusville, NJ.
Everyone at the “getting ready” location knew I was obsessed with the place, I mean how could you not be?! Anyways Kelly got ready for her special day with some of her closest family and friends and it was just such a special time.
After getting ready and getting some ADORABLE pictures we headed over to the venue at Tyler Gardens, which was a gorgeous spot! I was a bit nervous because it had become overcast and dark and I was worried that at any second it would start pouring, but thankfully the weather did not affect the ceremony. Kelly married Scott in the presence of their closest family and friends and honestly I cried during the ceremony it was so special to see the love that these two have for each other!
During cocktail hour we, (Liz Waterman Photography and I) and took some portraits and I’M SO OBSESSED!! They both look absolutely incredible!! Kelly’s dress is stunning and she got it in Florida at Margaret Ellen Bridal, it was designed by Martina Liana Bridal Designs and it just fit her PERFECTLY! The two of them together are absolutely stunning and such models and I’m so obsessed!
After pictures the couple entered into the reception tent as Mr. and Mrs. Scott Thornton and they had their first days and followed by the father-daughter dance and mother-son dance. It was such a sweet moment and I don’t believe there was a dry eye in there (I can tell you for a fact that my eyes weren’t dry, HA!). After the dances Scott’s brothers both gave a speech as did Kelly’s father. After the speeches and dinner the dance floor opened up and boy was it a party on the dance floor!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it was an amazing day filled with joy, tears, and so much love!
Scott and Kelly, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day! It was so special and I am so happy for you both as you continue on this journey together!
