On November 17th, 2018 I had the opportunity to photograph Abi & Casey Hoffman and miss Kona! Abi approached me at work a few weeks prior and wanted some Christmas pictures for Christmas cards. I obviously was all about it!!
So, that week on Thursday, Eastern Pennsylvania got DUMPED with snow. It was absolutely insane. There were accidents everywhere and some people who have a typical hour commute home found themselves in stand-still traffic for 8+ hours. Roads were closed and it was just a hot mess.
However, the snow camel came to the rescue so everything ended up being okay! HA! If you are from the Lehigh Valley, you’ll understand!!
So, Friday I’m low-key freaking out, like how in the world are we going to do this session when Allentown is 8 inches deep in snow?!
Thankfully, it warmed up a bit and hey what’s Christmas without snow anyways? Also, high-key annoyed that we haven’t had a white Christmas here for the past several years… Moving on.
So, I met Abi and Casey at the Lehigh Valley Game Preserve and I got to meet sweet Kona. Abi and Casey got married this past September, they got Kona a few months prior so this Christmas will be their first official Christmas as a whole family!!
Again, this session was also freezing! For some reason whenever I have a session it is so incredibly cold! That’s the North-East for you!! Regardless, this was such a fun session with this sweet family and I am so excited for their first Christmas together!
